“If you could see your own greatness, you would stop playing so small”. You may know intuitively that you are meant for greatness; that you have a beauty, a power, a grace and a queen within you, if only the world would support you in stepping fully into your Goddess self. In my own personal quest and journey of helping thousands of women reach their full potential, I learned that the simple act of getting in touch with the power, beauty and grace within us is the answer to being who we are meant to be. I have found that In looking at all the dimensions of being a woman that I wanted in my life, which I felt created a comprehensive picture of what it is to be a goddess in the modern world, I realized it all came down to four feminine types. Archetypes or these feminine types are pictures of characteristics, personality traits, and ways of being that we can emulate. All of these types are contained within every single one of us, realized or dormant in our experience. The fun is in bringing forth that which is already within us and having the ability to call upon that which we need or desire every day in every moment that we choose.
The first of the four feminine types that validate us as a Modern Goddess is the CEO. The CEO in us is the warrior, the woman that gets up every day and accomplishes all that she sets out to do. She is the woman who shows up at work or in her place of business, running a business or a project. She can manage people, projects and her entire to do list. She follows through consistently and is responsible for the financial success and status in her life. She is the woman that is strong and powerful and makes things happen in her life. This is the mental aspect of a woman, the part responsible for the mind, the thinking, the judgement, the logic and the reasoning. She says what she does and does what she says. She is clear on her boundaries and assures that her boundaries are respected. She knows when and how to say no and stands guard at the portal of all her decisions and experiences in life. She can run a household like clockwork and assures that she is respected, listened to and doesn’t get run over by her children, husband or other significant relationships.
The second feminine type is the mother. The mother is the aspect of the woman that can connect with other people, is in tune with their feelings, thoughts and desires. She is extremely intuitive and knows what others need even before they do. The mother feminine type is a giver, caretaker and nurturer. She is the giver of life, the source of nurturing and nourishment. She gives unconditionally and is a fountain of love, patience, devotion, caring and unselfish acts. The mother is the keeper and protector of life, from children to extended family, friendship and even work relationships. She is generous with her time, energy, talents and dollars.
The third goddess type is the playmate. The playmate is a fun, sexy, vivacious, flirtatious woman. She is in touch with her physical body and connects with others, both men and women on a physical level. She is very much about creating physical beauty around her and is usually surrounded by great works of art, stunning furnishings and maintains a dazzling environment. She is radiant, passionate, seductive and has sex appeal. She pays attention to details big or small and has impeccable taste. She knows how to flirt with people, is able to have fun everywhere she goes and laughs out loud on a regular basis. There is a youthful, vibrant quality about her and nothing holds her back. She is a muse and appreciates life. She understands life is about enjoyment, pleasure and delight. She is in touch with her senses, and loves everything sensual, enticing aromas, incredible food, the feel of silk or cashmere against her skin and the firm smooth skin of her lover against her bare body.
